Time for a little refresher...
Let's take a look at Indy entry numbers in this Millenium:
2001 = 50 entries submitted, 45 cars materialize, 6 bumps occur
2002 = 45 entries submitted, 37 cars materialize, 1 bump occurs
2003 = 35 entries submitted, 33 cars materialize, 0 bumping
2004 = 35 entries submitted, 33 cars materialize, 0 bumping
2005 = 36 entries submitted, 34 cars materialize, 1 bump occurs (that was strictly manufactured for the sake of it plus the fact of Foyt hating Luyendyk, btw)
2006 = 40 entries submitted, 33 cars materialize, 0 bumping
2007 = 39 entries submitted, 35 cars materialize, 1 bump occurs
2008 = 39 entries submitted, 37 cars materialize, 4 bumps occur
^^ So thanks to 10 cars from Champ Car there was a little drama this year, but still it is a far cry from what Indy's "Bump Day" once used to be ?!... now consider that this year's Indy did not generate any bigger viewing audience and no sponsors are pounding the gates down either... Food For Thought...

lol the gomers are way off. Youll see both Andretti and Hamilton in rides, because they have sponsorship. Its pretty much for sure that there will be a second Beck entry, you have to think Yasakawa or whatever will drive. Papis most likely won't be there cause he's doing half the cup schedule in a Toyota...can't drive a Honda. That list of 29 doesn't even have the second HVM car on it!
There will be 37, just like last year. |

Paul Tracy & Geico? I'm assuming Geico must be looking towards putting PT in a truck operation, but recent web promo videos featuring their NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Max Papis & Nationwide driver Mike Wallace, have also included lines from PT. 
Player Management International lists all three as clients, and has the promo running on their website as well. Must be big NASCAR plans in the works, but maybe a Geico car for Indy-only from either Papis or Tracy could be a possibility. |

Max Papis and Geico is a fact as of last year, Paul Tracy and Geico is something new. From what I hear there is nothing in the works for PT and Walker as well - sad but true.

Geico is Max Papis' personal sponsor !!! = they had a deal for last year's Indy but since the car didn't make it then it's easy to assume they'll try same combo this year... ... plus Freudenberg is shopping for a new car at this time - most likely from Roth's stable...
