Enough
is Enough?!

OK, we heard the story: "Five Year Plan"
?!
Now question is: what the hell does that entail
???
A sane person would assume it means that with each
year the series would get better at whatever pace that it can,
right...
And we can't really complain since KK & Co.
have bought Cosworth - to ensure engine supply... and they've
took over Long Beach and Toronto races... and still are in charge
of the dismal Cleveland race... and Surfers still is an apple
in our series... so what could possibly go wrong ?...
Well, for starters, the Denver race got cancelled
- WHY ?? - the Democratic Convention doesn't come until next year
!! = was it because the drivers do not like the circuit ?... or
maybe because after four years CC still can't make a dime on this
event ?... fine, it got canned, for one reason or another...
Then we have the Korea and China syndrome: Ansan
got kicked off because of political reasons - so they say... in
the meantime Forsythe is trying to collect money for building
the track... and Zhuhai isn't happenning because FIA won't allow
it when CC wants... so KK's choices here are very limited...
And now we have the Phoenix race cancelled and odds
are that Mexico City will get canned as well ?!
So what are we to think of ?
Is this the way the infamous "Five Year Plan"
supposed to be ??
Explain this to me - after looking at those facts
above and adding the silly drama of Paul Gentilozzi and his stake
in the series - is there a single sponsor or a possible sponsor
that is just dying to jump on this bandwagon ??
Don't think so.
So the "Five Year Plan" is not working
as it should.
Fine, we are looking at a move to Europe: two races
this year and two more next year... but will that help much ?...
How about the US audience ??... the TV ratings ??...
that is what we need to improve on... with Denver and Phoenix
getting cancelled, and Mexico City being on shaky ground, it looks
really bad for Champ Car... and they are dreaming of a series'
sponsor...
It is just plain ridiculous... the "Five Year
Plan" isn't working... and God only knows what we will see
next year...
